NEWLEMO 24 PIECE STAINLESS STEEL ICING TIPS SET

I love creating and being creative in the kitchen and baking cakes and decorating them has always been my most favourite past time; I don’t do it too often due to arthritic hands but when I’m feeling good I love to whip up a nice batch of smooth creaming frosting and getting busy.

There is something special and very personal about creating that special cake for that special person in your life or for that special occasion adding flair of uniqueness for the occasion; nothing says I love you like something home made from the heart with love and patience.

I have had my icing tips since I began decorating in my teens (many many moons ago); some are misshaped and have stood the test of time and really should have been replaced a very long time ago. Newlemo sent me their wonderful icing kit that contains 24 stainless steel tips made of 304 stainless steel (or 18/8 stainless steel) which is the common stainless steel in manufacturing, especially items for cooking making it highly resistant to rusting or corrosion. The tips come in a neat plastic see thru storage case and they also included a reusable medium 12 inch pastry bag.

What is unique to these tips is that they have an anti-shedding design which actually prevents the icing from leaching out of the side between the bag and the tip; this doesn’t happen too often but on occasion it can happen so it’s a really nice touch as well as some of the tips in the set I have never seen before or have ever come across them poking around at cake decorating stores which I often do, so I was extremely excited about that. They are so unique and interesting and will make some pretty sweet looking cakes and cupcakes.

Needless to say, I am quite impressed with the high quality of the icing tips, the speed of delivery and their warm and friendly customer service.
