Homemade Hummus with Crudités

1 can chickpeas/garbanzo beans (15 oz or so), drained but keep liquid aside  

1 tbsp lemon juice      
1 tbsp olive oil
1 crushed garlic clove
½ tsp cumin
½ tsp salt (or to taste)

Blend all ingredients in food processor and slowly stream in the reserved bean liquid until you reach the desired consistency.  Scoop into a serving bowl and serve with a variety of crisp fresh vegetables (crudités).
