Meatball Sub

So you've spent the better part of your day rolling meatballs for your family dinner.  You've literally made a pot full and everyone is full and very satisfied.  What do you do with all your left over meat balls? You make subs throughout the week until they're all gone and I honestly don't think they'll be lingering around your fridge too long!

On meatball day, our meatballs don't make it through to the next day; they're turned into subs at our house the same evening or made into lunches for work the next day.

All you need is our simple Meatballs Stuffed with Mozzarella Cheese recipe and our delicious Marinara Sauce recipe to get you started, along the way you'll need the following ingredients:

6 to 12 inch crusty Italian Sub Rolls or Baguettes.

1 or 2 slices of Provolone or Mozzarella Cheese Slices

Add-ons:

Grilled or Sauteed Veggies:  mushrooms, peppers, onions or fresh tomato, onions and anything else that you may have in the fridge such as marinated vegetables add a nice twist to this favourite.

Serve with a garden salad or some crisp french fries!
