My Favourite Sunglasses of the Season

Having worked with Jord earlier this year I jumped on the opportunity to review their sunglasses because I have seen the product quality first hand. I selected the Archer sunglass style in the finish Kosso & Maple.
On the Jord website the Archer - Kosso & Maple sunglasses are listed as men’s sunglasses but that is definitely not the case. The sleek design combined with natural wood truly makes me classify them as unisex sunglasses. The Archer - Kosso and Maple sunglasses are made from layered Northeastern North American Maple and Nigerian Kosso hardwoods. These sunglasses truly are a work of art and luxury.
When comparing the Archer sunglasses to my usual aviator style sunglasses the difference is like night and day. Since receiving the Archer sunglasses my aviators have been thrown off to the side. Gone are the days of having flimsy frames around my ears that could fall off at any moment; the Archer sunglasses have a thicker style frame which gives the glasses an all around better feel around the ears and face. With an all-wood construction you lose the need for the nose pads which for me are an immediate turn off to wearing sunglasses because often times the nose pads are hard and uncomfortable which ruins the wearing experience. I can wear the Jord Archer sunglasses for hours on end without feeling any discomfort and to me that’s what makes a good pair of sunglasses.
The Jord Archer - Kosso and Maple sunglasses come in what looks like a huge case at first but when the glasses aren’t in the case it actually folds down into a rectangle about 2 inches by 7 inches. This is huge because at this price point you’ll want to make sure your sunglasses are protected when they’re not in use. Since I do a lot of driving its nice being able to have the case in my centre console folded down knowing that when I get out of the car I can unfold the case and not have to worry about the lenses getting scratched by the miscellaneous items that may be hiding in the centre console of my car.
