Valentine’s Day is the first official holiday of 2018 as well as the 27th anniversary of our engagement. Yes, I might sound cheesy but my husband popped the question on Valentine’s Day and we haven’t looked back; married 25 years with 3 wonderful young adult men!
My wonderful husband is the average guy and at times very difficult to shop for, but by being the average guy we’ve compiled a list of some of our favourites we know he’d love and we’re pretty sure every other guy out there would love them too! We generally don’t splurge on gifts for each other; we’ll do simple things like dinner out, some chocolates, maybe dessert and a cappuccino at a local cafe and so on, we have never been over the top on Valentine’s Day simply because we’ve never needed just one day a year to say ‘I LOVE YOU’; it’s something we do on a daily basis, but this year is different!
2017 is a year we’d like to forget sooner than later due to the fact that he was on a fight for his life with life threatening heart disease and open heart surgery (more on this in future posts to come) so why not go a bit crazy this year to get him looking and feeling his best!
Now, if you know anything about me, I hate shopping with a passion; I’m not a lover of malls or long line ups, I just don’t have the patience for it. I want to get in find the deal and get out just as fast as I can so I am thankful that Amazon has a wonderful selection of gift ideas for HIM that are available without leaving your home; if you have prime there is no long waiting, you just might get your delivery the next business day.
